From university assignment to launching a business out of the back shed 20 years ago, we’ve grown into a thriving multi-million-dollar company by focusing on a simple mission: helping families stay organised and reducing the stress of lost belongings.

We specialise in safe, durable labels for clothing, lunchboxes, drink bottles, hats and school items. Our products give kids a sense of ownership and pride, while making life easier for parents, teachers and carers with smoother daycare handovers, faster returns of misplaced items and fewer costly replacements.

We design solutions that make life easier for families. Our wrap-and-stick clothing labels, created by mums, are unique to Bright Star Kids with no ironing or sewing required, just peel and stick. Unlike most competitors, we also offer extensive personalisation, from fonts and colours to allergy notes. Every illustration is created in-house to be colourful and appealing to children.

Our products are designed to withstand the rough and tumble of daily life. Labels are made with non-toxic, eco-friendly water-based inks and are free from BPA, phthalate and PVC, making them safe for children. Labels are tested daily by our own kids and those of our staff, and proven to survive dishwashers, washing machines, dryers, microwaves, freezers and rain. All products are made in Australia at our custom-built warehouses in Unanderra, giving us complete control over quality and delivery. Customers regularly tell us their labels are going strong years later.
